The cover is cut and engraved from real wood, so the dragon silhouette sits right in the grain and no two covers look quite alike. Inside is Class A watercolour paper at 200 gsm rather than standard notepaper – the same stock used in our sketchbook line – which is why this notebook takes a pencil sketch or a light wash of colour just as well as it takes handwriting.
